The CFTC issued Whistleblower Awards to four individuals totaling over $ 2 Million. The Whistleblowers jointly submitted the tip to the CFTC and each provided “significant”, ongoing assistance in bringing the enforcement action. Since the first award in 2014, the CFTC has provided approximately $100 million to Whistleblowers.
